Her or Me: Decide Part 3

  After they had landed, they were guided to Yellow Diamond's quarters by the escort gems. "OK follow us." A gem called out. The crystal gems were all apprehensive as they were guided to their leader Yellow Diamond. Steven looked at Pearl then to Amethyst then to Garnet to figure out their thoughts of the situation presented to them.
  "Stay close, we don't know if she has prepared for us to be hostile." Amethyst whispered to everyone as she looked at the escorts.
  "We have no choice but to follow their orders." Pearl responded in hushed tone.
  "Pearl is right, we have to be on our best behavior. We are at the disadvantage."Garnet conformed slowly walking besides her comrades. The escort gems continued as they reached a large door. The gem before nodded to another gem maybe called Citrine from here amber gold color scheme. And the door slowly began to open seething the darkness within it. The escort gem tensed and led the others to Yellow Diamond's lair.
  "Hello Crystal gems." Yellow Diamond snickered as she stood before her enemy. "You have really become a pain in my side since you stole my assistant, my escort, and my informant." She sneered looking upon the gems. And pointed at them.
  "We have no business with you if you want to conquer earth. We will not let that happen." Pearl said standing upright in front of Yellow Diamond.
  "Yeah that's one thing we won't let happen." Amethyst replied encouragingly as she posed.
  "Well it's lucky for you, that I'm organizing a treaty between us. So there's no need for any animosity between us." Yellow Diamond said as she walked down from her throne. "If we do agree to these terms, you will have to follow through." As she got to the gems, she gazed upon them.
   "So this is the group that foiled all of my predecessors plans as well as mine. A little ragtag don't you think?" She smirked as she was only a breath away from them. The gems were silent in the imposing aura she gave off, even the positive Steven was shaking. "Now shall we discuss the terms of our treaty?" She said as she stretched her arm out facing another room. The gems nodded and followed.
  They walked into what looked like a large dining room, with an outstretched table about 30 ft long in the middle, and large yellow flags adorned the walls. She motioned them to sit and they did. "Is everything alright, you seem nervous." She mockingly said, fully well noticing their unusual behavior.
  "Just a little hungry really." Steven spoke up as his friends looked at him.
  "Hungry? What is that, child?" Yellow Diamond asked confused at the odd comment. "And just who are you, you don't look like a gem." She said finally acknowledging Steven.
  "My name is Steven and yes I'm a gem. Well technically half gem. And hunger is a feeling humans get when the need to eat food." Steven said responding to her as he looked at her, the only gem looking in her direction.
  "Hmm, interesting. So you are saying you are only half gem and I'm judging you are also human? How are you possibly alive, who created you?" She said getting up and closely examined him.
  "He's our student, he has nothing to do with all of this!" Pearl exclaimed as Yellow Diamond picked up Steven, she and the rest of the gems almost rocketed out of their chairs.
  "You say he is only a student but your body language says otherwise." She said putting Steven down. "This Steven is important, and he is apart of this. If he wasn't then why is he here?"
